Who is Blocklevel?
Blocklevel is run by CM Harrington. I have over 10 years of experience in Information Architecture. In that time, I’ve done work for Sony, The WWE (nee World Wrestling Federation), AOL, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., Mark Hollander+Co., and many others. What is an Information Architect?
Much like an architect who creates blueprints that depict the structure of a physical building, an Information Architect creates blueprints that depict the structure, organization and hierarchy of an information product. These blueprints do not contain design elements beyond structure, nor do they implicate a technological solution. This is why Blocklevel collaborates with other small studios to deliver a complete package.
Why a consortium?
Blocklevel is a consortium. I am but one individual, and I can not do everything for everyone. Blocklevel concentrates on Information Architecture, and collaborates with other small companies for creative design and back-end coding. This allows everyone to do the job to which they are best suited, and not get burdened with tasks they’d rather not handle.
